    • PURPOSE: To apply optimum pulse charging voltage according to dust properties by controlling pulse output of a pulse power source of a pulse charging electric precipitator of the prestage or DC base current of a DC base power source so that a DC voltage value of a moving electrode electric precipitator of the poststage can be lowered. CONSTITUTION: DC voltage applied to a moving electrode electric precipitation part 20 from a DC power source 22 is detected by a voltage detecting part 23 to output it to a pulse power source control circuit 15. The pulse power source control circuit 15 controls a DC base power source 12 and a pulse voltage generator 13 based on this signal so that the detected DC voltage value of the moving electrode electric precipitator 20 can be lowered. That is, by charging conditions of a pulse charging electric precipitation part 10 of the prestage, dust collecting performance of the moving electrode electric precipitation part 20 is changed. Thus optimum pulse charging operation is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a difference in adhering amounts of a scale and a slime at input and output sides of a heat exchanging tube and to increase the service life of a heat exchanging tube by rotating a partition wall plate in the case of heat exchanging and inverting a flowing direction in the tube. CONSTITUTION:A motor 44 is operated in a heat exchanging operation to rotate a partition wall plate 14. Thus, when a communication hole 38 formed at the plate 14 is moved to a position of an input chamber 20A, a communication hole 40 is disposed at an output chamber 20B. On the contrary, when the hole 38 is disposed at the chamber 20B, the hole 40 is disposed at the chamber 20A. That is, the plate 14 is rotated thereby to alternately switch an input side and an output side of a heat exchanging tube 36. Accordingly, since a flowing direction of heat source fluid 21 flowing in the tube 36 is periodically inverted, a difference of adhering amounts of scale, slime at the input side and the output side of the tube 36 can be eliminated. Further, since a back washing effect is generated, the scale, etc., adhered in the tube 36 can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To calculate a parking charge by correctly collating an entry vehicle and a leaving vehicle even when the character of a number plate can not be recognized owing to soiling. CONSTITUTION:The vehicle 16 passing through an entry path is image-picked-up by a TV camera 20 to measure the height and the width of it by an ultrasonic sensor. A vehicle number code preparation device 24 extracts character information of the number plate and vehicle height/width information, gives a vehicle number code for each entry vehicle 16 and stores the vehicle number code in CPU 28 with its every time. Next, a vehicle passing through a going-out path is image-picked-up with a TV camera to measure the height and the width of it by an ultrasonic sensor. A vehicle number code preparation device 32 extracts character information of the number plate and vehicle height/width information and gives a vehicle number code and each going-out vehicle. Every time of this, a corresponding vehicle number code is retrieved from the vehicle number code of the entry vehicle stored in CPU 28 based on the vehicle number code given to the going-out vehicle to calculate a parking lot using time from the entry time stored with the retrieved vehicle number code and a present time to calculate the parking charge.
