    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult for a linear actuator to perform an accurate positioning by accumulating unidirectional motions out of reciprocating motions by means of a reciprocating driving source because an output shaft is shifted by an external force when it is driven in the actuating direction of the external force; furthermore its wedge connection tends to a bottleneck in durability because the linear actuator has larger pressure on its contact surface due to point contact; and a complicated part shape causes an economical barrier to a low cost in trying to lower pressure on contact surface by changing configuration from point contact to linear contact. SOLUTION: A constitution is designed to install an intermediate output shaft and a final output shaft driven by it, to directly drive the intermediate output shaft by the reciprocating driving source through the wedge connection, and to drive the final output shaft by the intermediate output shaft after another wedge connection is released which has locked the final output shaft by its translatory motion. Further, the part shape to constitute the wedge connection is changed to be capable of mutual linear contact even if it is entirely the shape of rotating body, or capable of allowing a long range in the linear contact.
