    • A method and an apparatus for collecting blue vitriol included in waste etching solution are provided to recycle a PCB soft etching solution or a plating rack stripping solution in order to collect blue vitriol with high purity. An apparatus for collecting blue vitriol included in waste etching solution comprises: a filtering unit(10) for receiving a waste etching solution from an etching tank(2) and filtering general suspended material or organic impurity through a top-down method; a cooling tank(20) for supersaturating the waste etching solution in order to educe blue vitriol(CuSO4.5H2) and taking the educed blue vitriol out; a screw conveyor(40) whose lower part is connected to the lower part of the cooling unit to push the blue vitriol upward by the rotation of a screw(42); a dehydrating unit(50) located in the upper part of the screw conveyor to discharge the blue vitriol to a capture tank(66); a remaining solution transferring unit(60) linked to the one side of the screw conveyor in order to collect the dehydrated remaining solution and transfer it to the etching tank; and a controller(70).
