    • PURPOSE:To obtain a capacitor having little leakage current and having a large capacity by a method wherein when a solid electrolytic layer consisting of a conductive polymer compound is provided on a dielectric oxide film to form the capacitor, the compound is constituted of a compound formed on the dielectric oxide film in a solution added with a nonionic surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:A conductive polymer compound on a dielectric is formed by the ordinary chemical polymerization method or an electrolytic polymerization method and the like. According to the chemical polymerization method, a dielectric oxide film is impregnated with a monomer of the compound and is then dipped in a solution containing anions used as a dopant, oxidizing agent and a nonionic surface active agent. According to the electrolytic polymerization method, anions used as a dopant and a nonionic surface active agent are dissolved in an electrolyte, in which a monomer of the compound is dissolved, and electrolysis is performed with an anode foil formed with a dielectric oxide film used as an anode. Polypyrrole and polythiophene or these dielectrics are preferable as the compound from the viewpoint of easiness of polymerization, stability and conductivity.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title electrolytic capacitor having a high degree of conductivity, and excellent stability at high temperature and excellent temperature characteristics by a method wherein a driving electrolyte consisting of specific organic polar solvent is used. CONSTITUTION:The ammonium salt of undecanoic dicarboxylic acid is cojointly used with a specific compound, and a driving electrolyte, consisting of an organic polar solvent which is dissolved as a solute, is used. Pertaining to undecanoic dicarboxylic acid, it is the dibasic carboxylic acid indicated by HOOC(C11H12)COOH, and the principal chain having the (C11H12) part in straight chain shape and in a branched state may be used. As a specific compound, a phosphorus compound, a boric compound, oxyacid or its salt, aromatic carboxylic acid or its salt, and low grade carboxylic acid or its salt are used favorably. As a result, the title capacitor having high degree of conductivity, excellent stability at high temperature and excellent temperature characteristics can be obtained.
