Thus, with the release of a hand from the curve manipulating knob 6, a curved part 2 is returned naturally to the condition of almost upright.

When, on the other hand, the video scope corresponding to a simultaneous system is connected to the processor 10, the red, green and blue light emitting diodes are made to simultaneously emit light, and white light is radiated from the LED lamp 16. The image signals sent from a second video process circuit 15B are sent to the television monitor 21 by switching of the switching circuit 17.

SOLUTION: A conductor layer 40 is laminated on the end face 11A of the main body 11 of the tip end part comprising ceramic. An LED 50 to project white light is set on the conductor layer 40. The end face 11A is covered with a transparent mold member 60. The LED 50 of a first group G1 is set so that the light emitting body 51 is positioned relatively far away from the conductor layer 40. The LED 50 of a second group G2 is set so that the light emitting body 51 is positioned nearer the conductor layer 40 than the light emitting body 51 of the LED 50 of the first group G1. The LED 50 of the first group G1 is set at a prescribed distance from the conductor layer 40 so that the LED 50 of the second group G2 can be set in between a seal member 52 and the surface of the conductor layer 40. The LED 50 of the first group G1 is set so that the outgoing light is emitted through a gap of the LED 50 of the first group G1.
