    • PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to maintain the safety of the battery by inducing the electrical suspension of power supplies by cutting an electrode tap with a cutter mounted on a frame member in a process of pulling the frame member while a heat shrinkable tube contracts when the secondary battery is overheated by a malfunction. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: an electrode assembly (100) in which an electrode tap (101) of the electrode assembly is positioned through a central hollow part; frame members (200, 201) in which a cutter (301) is mounted on one end; a supporting member (500) in which the frame member is mounted; and thermal shrinkage members (400, 401) in which one end of the thermal shrinkage member is connected to the frame member in a position facing the cutter and the other side end of the thermal shrinkage facing the one end is fixed to an inner surface of the supporting member. The thermal shrinkage members are heat-shrunk at a temperature higher than a predetermined temperature. When a temperature of the thermal shrinkage member is higher than the predetermined temperature, the electrical suspension of power supplies is induced by cutting the electrode tap with the cutter mounted on the frame member in a process of pulling the frame member while the heat shrinkage member is heat-shrunk.

    • PURPOSE: An electrode assembly is provided to improve wettability to electrolyte even for a large size electrode and separator by including an ion conductive polymer between an electrode and a separator, thereby improving the performance of a battery. CONSTITUTION: An electrode assembly comprises an ion-conducting polymer capable of moving between an electrode and a separator. The ion conductive polymer is formed of a polymer-forming composition which comprises an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a crosslinking agent, and an organic solvent. A manufacturing method for the electrode assembly comprises: a step of spreading an ion conductive polymer-forming composition on the surface of the electrodes; a step of inserting a separator into between the electrodes; and a step of heat laminating the electrodes.
