    • A power control method in a radio network is provided to allow a user to quickly receive a response signal by changing a power mode. The first device receives the first beacon including power control mode change information from a coordinator. The first device changes a power control mode according to the power control mode change information. The second beacon including information indicating that the mode of the first device has been changed is received from the coordinator. The power control mode includes a normal mode and a power save mode. The power save mode includes an awake state in which data transmission/reception can be checked and a sleep state in which data transmission/reception is not available. The awake state is maintained while broadcasting a beacon(40) which includes PMMC(Power Management Mode Change) information.

    • A packetizer in a wireless network, a depacketizer therein, and a method for processing play time are provided to minimize retransmission, maximize efficiency and to apply to MAC layer and transmission layer by enabling a transmitting device, which can transmit an uncompressed HD(High Definition) video at a radio frequency of 60 GHz, to transmit a packet, or multiplexed audio/video data, to a receiving device together with play time information. A packetizer(20) in a wireless network comprises a multiplexing part(21), a play time information generating part(22), and a packetizing part(23). The multiplexing part(21), used in a transmitting device which can transmit an uncompressed HD video at a frequency of 60 GHz by wireless, multiplexes video data and audio data. The play time information generating part(22) periodically generates play time information which appoints the regeneration time of packet data. The packetizing part(23) packetizes the multiplexed audio/video data and inserts play time information, generated from the play time information generating part(22), in the packet data.
