摘要： Method of and systems for network redundancy and failure detection are disclosed. A method of assigning runtime states to nodes in a network includes transmitting initial route metric values associated with IP addresses of mobile network nodes to a router system, the relative magnitudes of the metric values being based on primary or secondary node status and active or standby runtime states. The method also includes transmitting packet(s) from one or more mobile network nodes to the router system destined for a server and one or more mobile network nodes receiving a response to the packet transmission via the router system from the server. In response to receiving the response to the transmissions, the one or more mobile network nodes setting subsequent route metric values having a reversed relative magnitude relationship to that of the initial route metric values.

摘要： Systems and methods for building service templates that allow for an agentless, data-driven and stateful automation of a provisioning of services to mobile network customers. Data associated with a request to create a target schema object class for a device and protocol are received. Based on the device and protocol information, a set of data fields associated with CRUD semantics is retrieved from either a database or from user provided data. A decorated target object class is created based on the requested target schema object class. A subrecipe is created including the decorated target object class, and one or more other decorated target object classes. A recipe is processed for transmission to an execution engine to form a service instance, the service instance being customizable by an operator for a specific network device such that the service instance data fields that are not pre-filled can be customized by the operator.

A PCRF receives a request from a mobile device corresponding to a user. The PCRF detects credit associated with a user mobile network usage account is below a threshold and assigns a tag to the request, the tag including redirect site information and secondary site information, the redirect site information including at least one network identifier corresponding to a redirect site and the secondary site information including at least one network identifier corresponding to a payment site accessible by the user when the credit associated with the user mobile network usage account is below the threshold. The PCRF transmits the request and the corresponding tag to a PCEF for routing the user to the at least one of the redirect site and the at least one payment site.

摘要： Systems and methods for improving efficiency in a mobile communications network are described. In one embodiment, a method for conserving network resources comprises releasing network resources related to a User Equipment ("UE") session at one or more network nodes without notifying the UE. A subset of the session information that can be used to connect with the UE is stored at a network node. If data is received for the UE, the stored subset of information can be used to 1) establish network resources related to the UE that were previously released and 2) deliver the data to the UE. In another embodiment, shared data resources are granted to one or more subscribers associated with a Designated User Group ("DUG"). An online charging session is assigned to the DUG that identifies policy data for granting shared data resources to the Designated User Group.
