    • A dust collection device (10) comprises a housing (12) which defines a chamber (14). A first aperture (17) is adapted to lie against a surface (32) to be drilled. A drill bit (not shown) is adapted to pass through the apertures (17, 18) to drill the surface (32). A fourth, inlet, aperture (25) is formed in the chamber (14) to permit inflow of air into the chamber (14) in response to vacuum from the vacuum source. The inlet aperture (25) extends radially outwardly (22). A fluid passage is defined by the inlet (22).
