    • A floor slat member (10) having longitudinally extending first and second sidewalls (32, 34) of a reciprocating floor conveyor includes integrally formed first downwardly opening channel portion (36), having a top panel (40), laterally extending side flange (76) and the first sidewall (32), and an adjacent upwardly opening channel portion (38), having a channel wall (68) and second sidewall (34). A tubular extension (102) glides through a slide bearing (104), which is fixedly attached to transverse frame members (26) , provides alignment and support to hydraulic motor (M) during movement back and forth of floor slat members (10, 11).

    • A tubular stem (S) at one end of a nut cage (NC) is inserted into an opening in a wall and is expanded to connect it to the wall and to coldwork the wall material surrounding the opening for fatigue life enhancement. The nut cage (NC) includes a cage floor region (22) for receiving the central portion (46) of a nut (N). One end portion (48) of the nut base (44) is inserted into a socket (22). A second end portion (50) of the nut base (44) is moved axially into a channel (28). Then a snap ring (SR) is installed and moved to place a closed portion (52) over the nut base end portion (50). The socket (26) and channel (28) restrain the nut base (44) against rotation in the nut cage (NC). The channel (28) and a portion of the snap ring (SR) which closes the channel (28) and the axial boundaries of the socket (26) restrain the nut base (44) from axial movement out from the nut cage (NC).

    • The invention relates to a device for making at least one cut in a meat piece with an articulated bone assembly, comprising at least two elongate bone pieces which are mutually connected in substantially rigid manner in a connecting zone and which extend from the connecting zone and initially enclose an angle, wherein the device comprises: support means for supporting the meat piece; cutting means (35) for making at least one cut in the meat piece; positioning means for positioning the meat piece relative to the cutting means, wherein the positioning means comprise a positioning element which is insertable in the angle area between the mutually joined bone pieces and which is adapted to be urged relative to the meat piece into the angle in the connecting zone.
      The invention further relates to such a device, wherein the bone assembly comprises a protruding bone part, for instance a heel bone (B6), and wherein the device is provided with support means for supporting the meat piece for deboning and with cutting means (44) for separating the protruding bone part from the bone assembly.
