    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively eliminate noise and disturbing waves, when there is not much difference between the frequency band of a signal and that of the noise and a disturbing wave. SOLUTION: A 1st frequency converter 1 converts the frequency of a modulation wave modulated by a base band signal into a frequency which is equivalent to an integral multiples of the period of one symbol. Storage means 3, 4 store the converted modulation wave by each symbol and provide the output of a multiplied wave by each symbol, so as to spread a noise or a disturbing wave included in the modulation wave. Then the modulation wave passes through a band pass filter 9, whose center frequency is the outputted frequency of the multiplied wave and whose bandwidth is an occupied bandwidth of the modulation wave, before being multiplied so as to eliminate spread noise, and a 2nd frequency conversion circuit 10 converts the frequency of the output of the filter 9 into the frequency before being multiplied. Thus, even when there is not much difference between the frequency band of a signal and that of the noise and the disturbing wave, the noise and the disturbing wave can be eliminated effectively.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the distortion at the intermediate frequency amplifying stage, by giving an FM modulation to a local oscillator with a sine wave having sufficiently high frequency and a reduced degree of distortion and then detecting the distortion of said sine wave after an intermediate frequency amplification and demodulation to control the local oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:The sine wave oscillator 8 produces a sine wave having a high frequency that is not contained in the broadcast signal with a reduction of distortion. An FM modulation is given via the above-mentioned sine wave and the adder 10 to the local oscillator 4 that can apply the control voltage to give a minute change of frequency, and the oscillating frequency is mixed 3 with the received electric wave to be amplified 5 in the form of an intermediate frequency. Furthermore the frequency of more than double said sine wave is extracted through a high-pass filter 11 and out of the democulated 6 signals to be turned into a DC through an AM wave detection 12 and then applied to the control circuit 14 after an A/D conversion 13. Then the local oscillation circuit control voltage set at the circuit 14 with the input supplied from the converter 13 to obtain the compensating voltage. This voltage receives a D/A conversion 9 to be applied to the local oscillator 4 via the adder 10. Then the distortion is reduced gradually for the oscillation frequency through a control.
