    • A trigger gun (1) for a high-pressure washer is disclosed, where the trigger gun comprises a handle (2), a valve (3) rigidly supported by the handle and a trigger mechanism. The valve further comprises an actuation element (6) for the opening and closing the valve, and the trigger mechanism provides a cooperation between the trigger and the actuation element. The trigger gun (1) further comprises a rocker arm (8) having a second area or point of contact for cooperation with the actuation element, a primary elbow link (37), and a secondary elbow link (38). The trigger mechanism further comprises a primary mechanical linkage constituted by the handle (2), trigger (4), primary elbow link (37), and rocker arm (8) that are pivotally connected in a closed loop, and a secondary mechanical linkage constituted by the handle (2), trigger (4), secondary elbow link (38), and rocker arm (8) that also are pivotally connected in a closed loop. The primary mechanical linkage is employed when changing the valve from a closed state to a first open state and the secondary mechanical linkage is employed when changing the valve from its first open state to a second open state.

    • A system for reducing the force to actuate the clutch pedal in automobiles is described, wherein the clutch-actuating pedal (2) is fixed to one end of an actuating arm (1), which has, at its other end, a pivot pin (3) as an integral part of the free end of the rod (4), the actuating arm (1) being further pivoted around a pivot pin (6) located between its ends and fixed to the vehicle body (not shown), so that a force applied on to the pedal (2) causes the pivot pin (3), provided at the other end of the actuating arm (1), to actuate, pressing the rod (4) of the plunger of the clutch master cylinder (5). This invention reduces the actuating force by means of a system in which the actuating arm (1), upon actuating the pedal (2), pivot pin (3) and, consequently, the lever arm (X), where the force on the rod is applied, describe a rotational path (A) around the pin (6). The component of the lever arm (X), which influences the moment applied to the pin (6), decreases as the lever arm follows the path (A), thus reducing the moment and the effort required from the driver to actuate the clutch. In addition, the master cylinder (5) itself is pivotable around a pin (9), fixed to the support (10) on the vehicle body, allowing the rod (4) to accommodate the pivot pin (3), when the latter follows the path (A), so as to enable the rod (4) to penetrate further into the master cylinder (5) of the clutch.

    • A mechanism for multiplying rotation. The mechanism includes two armatures of differing lengths which rotate about different centers of rotation. The armatures are coupled together such that a rotation of one armature will produce a multiplied rotation in the other armature. The multiplying mechanism has particular application with a valve assembly of the type used in self-contained sanitary systems of recreational vehicles. The valve assembly (50) includes a seal element having a sealing lip (62,64) directed toward generally inward and downward of a fill opening (42) a valve blade (76) in the holding tank (16). The sealing lip (62,64) terminates in a downwardly and outwardly oriented flange. The valve blade (76) is actuatable through two movements. The first movement moves the valve blade generally vertically into and out of engagement with the seal element (58). The second movement moves the valve blade (76) generally horizontally to a position out of registry with the fill opening (42).
