    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member which has a sliding layer showing a superior adhesive force to a metal base.
      SOLUTION: In a sliding member having the sliding layer 11 formed on the metal base 10 by making metal powders of a solid state collide with the metal base at a supersonic speed, the sliding layer 11 is formed to be a low melting point metal having a melting point of 400°C or lower. Thus formed sliding layer can be dense and acquire the high adhesive force, because the low melting point metal is generally soft, and is easily and largely deformed by the collision occurring when the film is formed on the metal with a cold spray method.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the adaptation to a material capable of recording and erasing information, by preparing an alloy, which takes different spectral reflectances on the basis of the change in a crystal structure by quanching a heating, by compounding Ag and Ad being main components in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:An Ag-Cd alloy containing 53-59wt% of Cd is formed into a foil. This foil shows a purple color at room temp. When this foil is heated by the scanning of laser beam, a pink color line is formed to the purple substrate. When this line part is again scanned by laser beam having low energy density, a pink color line is formed. That is, this alloy has different crystal structures and spectral reflectances between first temp. higher than room temp. and second temp. lower than room temp. The purple color and the pink color are different in spectral reflectance in a wavelength region excepting that of 470-670nm and can be discriminated. The recording material using this alloy is enabled in the recording and erasion of information and the operation of recording and erasion can be performed repeatedly.
