    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the spread of a fire by flames from outside of the building as well as a fire inside a building.
      SOLUTION: A fire-retarding partition forming system is equipped with a plurality of heads 16 which are placed along an opening part 12 of the building and form a water curtain 24 cutting off the inside 14 of the building from the outside 15 of the building by sprinkling water, an indoor fire detector 18 for detecting a fire of the inside 14 of the building, an outdoor fire detector 20 for detecting a fire of the outside 15 of the building, and a control part for forming the water curtain 24 at the opening part 12 by sprinkling water from the plurality of heads 16 when receiving fire signals from the indoor fire detector 18 or the outdoor fire detector 20. If a glass window is placed at the opening part 12 of the building, the plurality of heads 16 form the water curtain by sprinkling water to the glass window.
