摘要： The invention concerns a machine for drying, polishing and burnishing cutlery, crockery and metal tableware with the help of a drying material. It includes a tank (11,21) suspended on springs (13,23) on a supporting base (12,22) and connected to a motor driven vibrator (14,24) to maintain it in continual vibration, where said tank contains the drying material and is used to receive the objects to be treated with this material. The tank make also be equipped with a chute (25) for loading the items to be treated and on one side of the tank an exit chute (26) for the treated items.

摘要： Apparatus and method for buffing articles, such as leather goods, silverware and the like. The apparatus includes a flexible container for receiving an article to be buffed. The interior of the container has a buffing material therein and is of a size to permit relative movement of the article and the buffing material so that, when the container is moved about, such as in the drum of a clothes dryer, the article and the buffing material move continuously into frictional engagement with each other causing a buffing action to occur. Several embodiments of the container are disclosed. A clothes dryer can be used for moving the container. In the alternative, a coin operated drum can be provided.

摘要： Silverware washing and handling apparatus including a compartment for receiving large quantities of disoriented, mixed silverware which is moved by vibrating means gradually through the compartment in which a system of guide walls acts to orient each piece lengthwise before it passes through a relatively narrow discharge opening where the pieces are dispersed longitudinally so as to be fed to a continuous sorter and endfor-end orienter in a manageable stream. The compartment may be used just to feed clean silverware, or may be fitted with plumbing to wash the silverware. The compartment provides a very compact unit of large capacity by carrying the silverware through an arc of 180* from the compartment''s receiving end portion to a discharge opening which is alongside said portion.
