摘要： A lamp assembly configured to inductively receive power from a primary coil. The lamp assembly includes a lamp circuit including a secondary and a lamp connected in series. In a first aspect, the lamp circuit includes a capacitor connected in series with the lamp and the secondary to tune the circuit to resonance. The capacitor is preferably selected to have a reactance that is substantially equal to or slightly less than the reactance of the secondary and the impedance of the lamp. In a second aspect, the lamp assembly includes a sealed transparent sleeve that entirely encloses the lamp circuit so that the transparent sleeve is fully closed and unpenetrated. The transparent sleeve is preferably the lamp sleeve itself, with the secondary, capacitor and any desired starter mechanism disposed within its interior.

摘要： An LED arrangement comprising at least one LED, which receives an LED illumination voltage in accordance with a square-wave signal, wherein the brightness of the LED is dependent on the ambient luminosity, which is measured by means of the LED, which is switched in a non-illuminated state as a light sensor. The at least one LED is arranged together with a first and a second transistor in a bridge circuit such that the first transistor applies the LED illumination voltage to the LED in accordance with the square-wave signal, and the second transistor applies a voltage having inverted polarity as the LED illumination voltage to the LED in intervals of the turned-off times of the LED, wherein the duty cycle of the square-wave signal is dependent on the strength of a photocurrent, which flows through the LED when the voltage having inverted polarity is applied thereto.

When the light string is powered on, the non-polarity capacitor is charged and absorbs the surge current which may occur. Thus, the voltage dropped on each light rises slowly and the lights are safe. 摘要： An inductive power supply system for providing power to one or more inductively powered devices. The system includes a mechanism for varying the physical distance or the respective orientation between the primary coil and secondary coil to control the amount of power supplied to the inductively powered device. In another aspect, the present invention is directed to an inductive power supply system having a primary coil and a receptacle disposed within the magnetic field generated by the primary coil. One or more inductively powered devices are placed randomly within the receptacle to receive power inductively from the primary coil. The power supply circuit includes circuitry for adjusting the power supplied to the primary coil to optimize operation based on the position and cumulative characteristics of the inductively powered device(s) disposed within the receptacle.

摘要： The continuity of a series-wired, lamp circuit is restored after interruption caused by failure of a lamp filament by providing a control relay that is wired in parallel with each lamp. A power resistor having a resistive load substantially the same as that of a lamp filament is arranged in series with the relay contacts, which are normally open. The failure of a lamp filament causes a high voltage to be impressed across the coil of the relay, causing it to pick up and its contacts to close, thus substituting the resistor for the lamp filament and restoring continuity to the circuit.
