    • A switch is provided with a moveable contact and contact carrier that significantly facilitates the manufacturing process necessary to make the assembly. The contact carrier is provided with first and second extensions that are generally flexible and associated with each other to provide a gap therebetween. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the second extension comprises first and second fingers that extend from the contact carrier. The second extension is provided with protuberances that permit a moveable contact to deform the second extension as it is moved inward toward the contact carrier. The extensions snap together after the complete moveable contact has moved into a predetermined space between the extensions. The assembly of the present invention permits the moveable contact to be permanently retained between the first and second extensions, but variable moveable in position within that containment to permit the position of the moveable contact to adjust to the position of fixed contact when the contact carrier is moved within a housing structure to force the moveable contacts into electrical communication with a pair of fixed contacts.

    • A microswitch includes a base (1), fixed contacts (2) and movable contacts (3). The movable contacts (3) are connected to a drive member (4) by way of a mechanism for switching the movable contacts having at least two assemblies (7) disposed in symmetry relative to the axis of the drive member (4). Each of the assemblies (7) includes a lever (8) and a spring (9) the outer ends (15,16) of which are interconnected to be capable of swinging angularly relative to each other. One element (8) of these two elements (8, 9) of the assemblies (7) is connected by its inner end (10) to the drive member (4) for swinging angularly relative thereto. Other respective elements (9) of each assembly (7) on which the movable contacts (3) are secured have the form of an integral resilient part (12) the central portion of which has secured thereto the movable contacts (3). The resilient part (12) at the portions thereof between the attachment points thereon of the movable contacts (3) and its outer ends (15) define in each assembly (7) of the mechanism for switching the movable contacts resilient elements (9) arranged in symmetry relative to the axis of the drive member (4) at an angle to each other in any possible position of the drive member (4). Also provided are stop elements (17) for restricting the movement of the outer ends of the assemblies of the mechanism for switching the movable contacts. The attachment points of the movable contacts (3) on the resilient part (12) are located between the stop elements (17) at equal distances therefrom.

    • A snap switch comprises a control button, a control rod slidable with the control button via a spring, two pairs of contacts associated, respectively, with two pairs of terminals, the two contacts of each pair of contacts being connectable by resilient conducting means under the action of a setting spring fixed to the control rod and to these resilient conducting means. The two contacts of one pair of contacts are borne by two pivotable conducting plates, biased by resilient means for connecting the two contacts borne by the conducting plates to their respective terminals. The conducting plates can be pivoted under the action of the control button and against the action of the resilient biasing means for disconnecting the two contacts borne by the conducting plates from their respective terminals.
