    • This disclosure is related to assessing learning of users and in particular, to assess other knowledge than fact knowledge. A computer system for assessing learning of a user includes an input module to receive from the user a first indication associated with each of multiple electronic evidence items of a relationship between that electronic evidence item and a theory, and a second indication of whether the theory is correct. The system further includes a processor to determine a learning credit for the second indication based on the first indication associated with each electronic evidence item and the second indication, and to store on a data store assessment data indicative of the learning credit awarded to the user. A user may choose the wrong answer for whether the theory is correct but if this answer is consistent with the assessment of the evidence items, a learning credit can still be awarded.
