The approach involves, for instance, determining a location of a road attribute in a road network. The approach also involves determining an analysis distance before and after the location of the road attribute in the road network. The approach further involves retrieving probe data collected using one or more location sensors of one or more vehicles traversing the analysis distance before and after the location of the road network. The approach further involves processing the probe data using a machine learning model to determine one or more machine-learned speed profiles of one or more road segments of the road network within the analysis distance and providing the one or more machine-learned speed profiles as an output.

摘要： Systems and methods are provided for systematically penalizing drivers who fail to stop at crosswalk on different circumstances. The system and method generally employ a sensor to detect a vehicle approaching the cross walk and ambient conditions. The sensor may collect information about the speed and any changes in speed of the vehicle approaching. An image capture device may be used to identify any passengers waiting to cross or actively crossing within the crosswalk. The analyzer processes the information and determines if a fine should be levied upon the vehicle approaching the cross walk. The analyzer may also determine the magnitude of the fine that is to be issued. An additional camera for sensing vehicle speed may be placed at the cross walk to obtain further information to properly assess a fine.

摘要： A vehicle accident detection method and system is provided. The method includes receiving location coordinates associated with a location of an occuring vehicular accident. Data associated with possible causes of the vehicular accident is received from sensors. Traffic related rules associated with a geographical location are retrieved and analyzed with respect to the data. Parameters associated with at least one vehicle involved in the vehicular accident and a possible cause are determined via execution of programming logic and transmitted to additional systems. The possible cause for the vehicular accident is determined from all possible causes based on matching current and historical accident circumstances. Additionally, weighting factors may be available and adjusted over time for accurate accident detection. A possible cause comprising a greatest weighting factor may be used to identify a most likely cause.
