The distribution of molecular weight of the toner determined by a GPC chromatogram has a molecular weight maximum peak in the range of molecular weight from 210 to 310 and has a molecular weight maximum peak or a shoulder in the range of molecular weight from 310 to 110 , which are achieved by kneading a toner composition containing a specific binding resin containing a predetermined or more quantity of polymer component and by reducing the molecular weight of the polymer component of the binding resin by the thermal and mechanical energy of the kneading.
