摘要： A system for the processing of a hydrocarbon flare gas. An input gas stream contains a gas component and a liquid component. A knock-out drum separates the gas component from the liquid component. An eductor has a motive inlet, a suction inlet, and a discharge outlet. The separated liquid component is introduced into the suction inlet of the eductor. A high-pressure gas stream is introduced into the motive inlet of the eductor. The high-pressure gas stream has a pressure sufficient to draw the separated liquid component from the knock-out drum and through the discharge outlet.

摘要： A method for turndown of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant, the plant including a liquefaction unit arranged in a flow path of the plant, includes removing LNG from a first location in the flow path downstream of the liquefaction unit; vaporizing the removed LNG, or heating the removed LNG so that the removed LNG is transformed to gas phase; and re-admitting the vaporized or transformed LNG to the flow path at a second location upstream of the liquefaction unit. A corresponding LNG plant is also provided.

摘要： A method is provided for operating a system for the liquefaction of gas of the type comprising a main heat exchange vessel, a bundle for the gas to be liquefied extending through said MCHE and a refrigerant compression circuit of which a first end leads evaporated refrigerant from the vessel towards a compressor and a second end supplies the compressed and cooled refrigerant from the compressor towards the MCHE. For avoiding problems during heat up or during start up of the heat exchanger the pressure within the liquefaction system is controlled by regulating the amount of evaporated refrigerant in the liquefaction circuit.

The cryogenic refrigerator comprises a bypass line (22) allowing a high-pressure portion and a low-pressure portion to communicate with each other, a gas storage tank (24) located midway in the bypass line and having pressure regulation valves (23a, 23b) on the high-pressure side and the low-pressure side, respectively, and a pressure control unit (26) controlling the pressure regulation valves. The pressure control unit (26) controls the pressure regulation valves (23a, 23b) so that the pressure in the gas storage tank (24) is equal to the pressure in the closed loop at room temperature and in a stopped state and so that the pressure in the gas storage tank (24) is between the pressures in the high-pressure portion and in the low-pressure portion and is close to the pressure in the low-pressure portion in an operating state.

摘要： The invention provides a method of removing solid carbon dioxide from cryogenic equipment, including the steps of: (a) introducing a stream including ethane to the cryogenic equipment to convert solid carbon dioxide to liquid form whereby a mixture of liquid ethane and liquid carbon dioxide is formed; and (b) removing the mixture of liquid ethane and liquid carbon dioxide from the cryogenic equipment. In particular, the method can be used in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant wherein cryogenic equipment contains LNG, and the method includes the steps of: (a′) removing the LNG from the cryogenic equipment; (a) introducing a stream including ethane to convert solid carbon dioxide to liquid form whereby a mixture of liquid ethane and liquid carbon dioxide is formed; and (b) removing the mixture of liquid ethane and liquid carbon dioxide from the cryogenic equipment. The result is an effective cleaning method for fouled LNG equipment.
