SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater includes a heat pump coolant circuit 30 having a compressor, a water-coolant heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an air-coolant heat exchanger, a hot water supply circuit 40 having a hot water storage tank, an internal circulating pump, a hot water supply mixing valve, a bathtub heat exchanger, a bathtub circulating pump, and a hot water-water mixing valve, and forming direct hot water supply from tank stored hot water and hot water supply, bathtub hot water filling, and bathtub reheating from the tank, and an operation control part 50 carrying out hot water storage operation, direct hot water supply operation, tank hot water supply operation, bathtub hot water filling operation, and bathtub reheating operation by operation settings of a tapping location remote control 51 and a bath remote control 52. The operation control part carries out optimum operation control of determining any of three types of operation means of heating efficiency priority operation, heating capacity priority operation, and intermediate defrosting operation using an ambient temperature, an air-coolant heat exchanger temperature, and a hot water supply/hot water storage mode as criteria.     • PURPOSE:To prevent rapid emission of large amount of hot-water to the tap by a method wherein a water quantity valve is maintained under throttled condition in case that a cock is closed at the throttled condition of the water quantity valve of a tap-controled hot-water heater, and the tap is opened after the designated time. CONSTITUTION:A controller 15 is arranged in the base frame of a hot-water heater A or in a control box 16, the controller 15 controls the intermittent burning of a burner 6. When the calculated and required amount of heat exceeds the capability of the hot-water heater A, a water quantity valve 10 is throttled, the flow rate is decreased within the capability. When a valve B is stopped under the above condition, the water quantity valve 10 is made full opening condition after designated time (3min). Simultaneously, a pump 7 is restarted, the hot-water is maintained at designated temperature with circulating and flowing, prepares the next opening of the valve B. At the opening of the valve B, the water quantity valve 10 is still under throttled condition, accordingly, the large amount of hot-water supplying can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To discharge hot-water of stable temperature and obtain the hot-water immediately when a hot-water supplying cock is opened by a method wherein a pump for heating circulation is used commonly for forced circulation for returning the hot-water while a pipeline for returning the hot-water is connected to the inlet side of the pump. CONSTITUTION:The pipeline 6 for returning hot-water from hot-water supplying system is connected to the inlet side of the pump 3. The returning pipeline 6 is provided with a solenoid valve 7 for water and a non-return valve 8 while an electric instrument circuit is constituted so that the solenoid valve 7 and the pump 3 are operated by the operation of a timer with a constant interval. On the other hand, a hot-water sensing system consists of a hot-water supplying pipeline 5 and a hot-water temperature sensing thermistor 9 and the feedback of variation of temperature to the solenoid valve 7 for water and the pump 3 is effected by the electric instrument circuit. According to this method, the hot-water may be obtained immediately after the hot-water supplying cock is opened inexpensively by employing commonly the pump for water heating and the hot-water of stable temperature may be obtained without deteriorating the hot-water temperature distribution in the hot-water reserving tank.
