摘要： An automatic transmission controller for controlling an automatic transmission includes a neutral controller which is configured to perform neutral control, a neutral control permission determiner, and an engagement controller. The automatic transmission includes a plurality of planetary gear mechanisms and a plurality of engagement mechanisms. One of the plurality of engagement mechanisms is a mechanical engagement mechanism. The engagement controller is configured to allow rotation of an input shaft of the automatic transmission in a case where the neutral control determiner permits the neutral control and configured to set the plurality of engagement mechanisms including at least the mechanical engagement mechanism so as to fix an output shaft of the automatic transmission to a casing of the automatic transmission in a case where the output shaft of the automatic transmission is rotated by a wheel of a vehicle in a rotational direction such that the vehicle moves backward.

摘要： A transmission includes an input member, an output member, four planetary gear sets, a plurality of coupling members and a plurality of torque transmitting devices. The transmission input member is connected to a dry launch clutch. Each of the planetary gear sets includes first, second and third members. The torque transmitting devices are for example clutches and brakes. A hill hold control strategy is provided for locking the transmission without using the dry launch clutch by selectively engaging combinations of the clutches and brakes.

The hydraulic control apparatus of the automatic transmission has a hydraulic servo for controlling an engaging state of a clutch C-1 on the basis of supplied oil pressure, a linear solenoid valve for C-1 for outputting signal pressure by adjusting the oil pressure, a control valve for outputting control pressure provided by adjusting line pressure PL on the basis of the signal pressure of the linear solenoid valve for C-1, and a C-1 apply relay valve for inputting, selectively switching and outputting the control pressure and the line pressure PL to the hydraulic servo. An orifice for regulating the flow rate of the oil is arranged in an oil path g for inputting the line pressure PL to this C-1 apply relay valve.

摘要： In a control apparatus for an automatic transmission, a return control is executed to engage a clutch that has had its engagement pressure lowered and to disengage a brake so as to resume the state of the automatic transmission from the neutral state under a neutral control to the one where the forward speed is established. As the time for the neutral control becomes longer, the decrease in the torque of an output shaft of the automatic transmission becomes gentler. Accordingly an initial value of a control command value for the clutch pressure is decreased with the increase in the neutral control time such that the engagement of the clutch becomes gentler.
