    • Apparatus and associated methods relate to nutating a piston drive linkage oriented around a longitudinal axis in response to the rotation of a drive shaft about a drive axis, said longitudinal axis being offset and canted with respect to said drive axis. In an illustrative example, the piston drive linkage may be formed as a wobble plate extending radially from the longitudinal axis. Near a periphery, the wobble plate may attach to a plurality of stationary piston cranks. The nutating motion of the piston drive linkage may impart a substantially linear motion profile substantially parallel to the drive axis of rotation. A bearing oriented around the longitudinal axis may advantageously be freely inserted into and removed from an aperture in the wobble plate. An inner race of the bearing may freely rotate about the longitudinal axis in response to rotation about the drive axis.

    • A vibration-reducing structure for compressing diaphragm pump features a pump head body and a diaphragm membrane. The pump head body includes four operating holes, a first curved vibration-reducing positioning structure circumferentially disposed around the upper side of each operating hole, and or a linked four-curve positioning structure that collectively extends around all of the operating holes. The diaphragm membrane includes four equivalent piston acting zones and second curved vibration-reducing position structures situated at positions corresponding to the positions of the first curved vibration-reducing positioning structures. The first positioning structures in the pump head body, which may be grooves, slots, perforations, or protrusions, mate with the corresponding second positioning structures in the diaphragm membrane to reduce the moment arm generated during pumping by movement of the diaphragm membrane, which may be protrusions, grooves, slots, or perforations, thereby generating less torque to decrease the strength of vibrations and vibration noise.

    • The present invention provides a five-compressing-chamber diaphragm pump with multiple effects, which comprises an eccentric roundel mount with five cylindrical eccentric roundels, a pump head body with five operating holes, and a diaphragm membrane with five annular positioning protrusions. A basic curved dent is circum-disposed around each operating hole while a basic curved protrusion is circum-disposed around each corresponding annular positioning protrusion for suitably coupling upon assembly. A short length of moment arm from the basic curved protrusions to the annular positioning protrusion is obtained. By the pump head body and diaphragm membrane, the present invention solves harassing noise and vibrating resonant shakes in the conventional five-compressing-chamber diaphragm pump. The cylindrical eccentric roundel comprises a sloped top ring created from an annular positioning dent to a vertical flank in the eccentric roundel mount. By cylindrical eccentric roundels, the service lifespan of the five-compressing-chamber diaphragm pump is extended.

    • A linear peristaltic pump with fingers includes a membrane positioned between the pumping fingers (250) and the tube. A part of the membrane against which the fingers (250) press, which part is called the track (212), is kept in permanent contact with the end of the fingers (250) throughout the duration of the pumping cycle, even in the absence of any tube. This material will be more rigid than the rubber conventionally used but, by virtue of the permanent contact, the track will not remain pressed against the tube but will, by contrast, be lifted by the finger (250). It will thus be possible to select a stronger material that will suffer less wear for the track. The precision of the pump will be guaranteed for longer and membrane changes that are painstaking and costly in terms of time and in terms of labor will be avoided.
