One wall of the unit is provided with one part (27) of a two-part connector with the other part (33) on the opposed wall whereby two similar units may be joined together by relative sliding movement of the two units in the plane of the side walls (12). Joining together of two units (10, 11) in this way also joins together the runner bars (17) or (18) of the two units such that sliding motion of the runner bar (17) of one unit (10) is transferred to the runner bar (17) of the connected unit (11), for at least one direction of sliding movement of the runner bars (17).

摘要： An exit door has a security device comprising a flexible member, e.g. a chain, for connecting two locking devices which may be fixed on a door and doorway or on double doors. The first locking device is operable by a first key removable only when the locking device is activated and a second key removable only when the locking device is deactivated. One end of the flexible member is fixed to the second key and the other end is fixed to the second locking device, which is operable by the second key, being removable from the second locking device only when it is activated, and by a third key removable only when the second locking device is deactivated. The security devices are members of a series of such security devices in which the third key of each security device serves as the first key of the next security device in the series. The last key in the series is essential to operation of a control unit permitting use of a building provided with the exit door.

At least one other flexible blade substantially parallel to the flexible blades is mounted in elastic manner in the case and has at least one configuration on at least one of its side edges. A key is engaged frontally in the case and cooperates with the flexible blades, the key having on its front edge a plurality of notches determining projections to abut on the flexible blades, the key having at least one lateral notch adapted to latch on said configured flexible blade which is notched or which has a projection, to lock the key on the configured flexible blade in the absence of a badge on the case.

摘要： A lock system which prevents the mixing of different kinds of oil at a gasoline tank comprises: locks for different kinds of oils provided on each of couplings constituting oil filler ports of underground tanks of the gasoline stand and each of tank base valves of a tank truck, and keys separately provided for unlocking the locks for the different kinds of oil, wherein only the lock on the couplings of the oil filler ports which accepts a selected key which unlocks the corresponding tank base valve of the tank truck can be unlocked. When one of the tank base valves is opened and an oil filler hose is connected to the oil filler port of one of the underground tanks, only the oil filler port of the underground tank containing the same kind of oil as that in the corresponding tank of the tank truck can be opened, thereby ensuring that the same kind of oil is reliably poured into the underground tank from the tank truck. The keys are stored in a key-storing device which holds the keys separately for the different kinds of oil, and is constructed such that only one key for one kind of oil can be removed at a time. It is thereby possible to provide a lock system preventing the mixing of different kinds of oil at a gasoline stand, which can reliably prevent the mixing of different kinds of oil with simple devices and members.

摘要： A key retaining multiple lock mechanism, suitable for parcel lockers and other structures and capable of being mounted on doors for such structures, has a first lock with a first key trapping tumbler mechanism. The first lock has a strike-engaging tongue and a spring loaded bolt cooperating with a second lock dead bolt structure. The dead bolt is operated by a second key to extend and retract the dead bolt. When extended, the dead bolt compresses the spring-loaded bolt when the mechanism is in a locked condition and acts as a stop when the mechanism is in the unlocked condition, preventing relocking of the structure without first retracting the dead bolt with the second key.

摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for maintaining security and data gathering for a number of vehicles. The systems include a vehicle activity module for each of the vehicles. The vehicle activity module has a wireless transmitter, a storage device, at least one sensor for receiving event information from identification devices, such as RFID cards, keypads, magnetic ID cards, and the like, a releasable key container, and a processor for accessing and analyzing information. The VAMs are wirelessly connected to a computer system. The VAMs control access to the keys, monitor information relating to access, and store and transmit information relating to sales events, non-sales events, and intrusion events. The VAMs are capable of autonomous operation, without the need to access the computer system to verify event information. The VAMs further include signal attenuating mechanisms to facilitate use of “smart keys.”
