摘要： The present invention includes a roof tarp system and method for sealing an opening in a roof or other opening in a building. The roof tarp system comprises a tarpaulin structure having a top surface, a bottom surface and having a surface area defined by a perimeter edge. A micro-adhesive strip is located around the perimeter edge of the bottom surface, the micro-adhesive strip comprising a solid formulation selected from the group consisting of a synthetic resin, a thermoplastic, and a non-curing rubber with a built in primer. The micro-adhesive strip is adapted to bond with the roof such that the opening in the roof is protected from the elements by the tarpaulin structure. The adhesive strip is protected through the use of a covering. The covering is adapted to be removed during use of the roof tarp system.

摘要： A ground cover hold down device that includes a flexible elongated bladder made of durable, U-V resistant, coated vinyl capable being rolled into a compact rolled configuration for storage and unrolled to form an elongated expanded bladder capable of being filled with water. Formed on the top surface of the bladder is at least one filling port that allows the worker to fill the bladder with water. Located along two longitudinal edges of the bladder is a plurality of laterally extending eyelets. Each eyelet is made of rigid PVC and designed to remain laterally extended as the bladder is filled with water and assumes an oval cross-sectional configuration. A stake is then extended through each eyelet to hold the bladder in place over the ground cover. The bladder also includes a drain plug located at the opposite end of the bladder so that the water may be selectively removed from the bladder.

A first hook and loop material attachment means that is attached to the first face of the tarp and that runs parallel and is adjacent to the ridge of the tarp, the hook and loop attachment means is at least a half an inch inwards from the ridge. A second hook and loop attachment means attached to the second face of the tarp, the second hook and loop attachment means is located the same distance from the edges of the tarp as the first hook and loop attachment means. On each corner of the tarp, there is grommet attached. A lifting means is attached to the grommet.

applying a sheet of heat shrinkable film over the portion of the roof, the sheet having a leading edge and a trailing edge and being a film of low density polyethylene including shrinking resins;
wrapping portions of the leading edge around a first batten and attaching the first batten to the underside of a first eave or to the facia of the built structure;
wrapping portions of the trailing edge around a second batten and attaching the second batten to the underside of a second eave or to the facia of the built structure at a location different than the first batten; and
heating the sheet of heat shrinkable film to bring the film into conformity with the portion of the roof, wherein the heating step shrinks the sheet of film tight against the built structure to cover over the portion of the roof.
