摘要： Der neue Sägebock faßt das Holz (H) nahe desseneinem Ende mit einem oberen Auflager (2) von oben und in einem Abstand kleiner als die Länge des abzusägenden Holzabschnittes, z.B. als eine Holzscheitlänge, mit einem unteren Auflager (3) von unten; man sägt vor (in Fig. 1 rechts von) letzterem. Das obere Auflager besteht aus geneigten, mit Zähnen versehenen Stangen, so daß man Holz jeder Dicke ungefähr horizontal einlegen kann. Eigengewicht des Holzes und Sägedruck drücken das Holz gegen das untere und gegen das obere Auflager und den Sägespalt beim Sägen zunehmend auseinander, so daß die Säge bis zuletzt nicht eingeklemmt wird und man daher auch eine Motorsäge gefahrlos benutzen kann. Die Auflager (2, 3) befindensich auf einem Gestell aus einfachen Teilen (11-16). das auch zusammenklappbar oder zerlegbar sein kann; eine Schutzplatte (5) und eine Ablage (4) für die Säge kann vorgesehen sein.
