摘要： Systems and methods for non-invasive management of head pain are disclosed. The system includes a headgear configured to be worn on a patient's head. The headgear can include a base and an extension coupled to the base, and a number of therapy devices removably or adjustably attached to the base or the extension. The therapy devices can deliver various modes of therapeutic energy at respective target sites on the head, including neuromodulation of peripheral pain pathways and/or the cerebral cortex, and therapy modalities to facilitate or enhance the neuromodulation effects. The system can include a portable device that enables the user to control the therapy devices on the headgear. The user can use the portable device to optionally access a web-based repository to acquire information about headgear usage from other users, and use that information to guide the programming of the therapy devices.

摘要： A device for facilitating blood circulation by heat and electroshock and a method using thereof are provided. The device includes a host, one or more electroshock assembly, and two or more heat pads. The host has a control circuit to generate a direct current power. The electroshock assembly is electrically connected to the host and includes electroshock members as positive and negative electrodes. The electroshock members are attached to two opposite sides of a portion of a human body, so that the output current generated by the host is transmitted from the positive electrode, through the portion of the human body, to the negative electrode. The heat pads are covered on the outer surfaces of the electroshock members when the electroshock members are attached to the human body, so that the heat can be transmitted to the interior portion of the human body.

摘要： Endovascular catheters and control wires for operating the catheters and associated systems, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed include a catheter apparatus having an elongated shaft, a therapeutic assembly at a distal portion of the shaft, and a handle at a proximal portion of the shaft. An actuator is located at the handle and operably coupled to the therapeutic assembly via a tuned control member extending through the shaft. The tuned control member includes a control wire and a tuning component attached to one another within the shaft. The tuned control member is configured to achieve a desired tuned force-displacement response by modifying the stress-strain response that a non-tuned control wire would ordinarily provide without the intervening tuning component.

摘要： A method and apparatus for treating a condition in a patient such as BPH, irretractable infection, cyst, fibroid, or any mass such as prostate or breast cancer, skin cancer, melanoma, or any other soft tissue cancerous or benign mass, employs a unique, three-dimensional software-controlled electronic amplifier array using arbitrary waveforms that dynamically and proportionally steer electrical currents by using two or more current vector paths, sequentially or simultaneously, through a defined area containing electrically-conductive ionic solutions so as to obtain 100% thermal heating or hyperthermia through the defined area. The condition is treated or a mass is destroyed with a minimally-invasive treatment which requires no radiation or chemotherapy which could be harmful to the patient.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for thermally-induced renal neuromodulation. Thermally-induced renal neuromodulation may be achieved via direct and/or via indirect application of thermal energy to heat or cool neural fibers that contribute to renal function, or of vascular structures that feed or perfuse the neural fibers. In some embodiments, parameters of the neural fibers, of non-target tissue, or of the thermal energy delivery element, may be monitored via one or more sensors for controlling the thermally-induced neuromodulation. In some embodiments, protective elements may be provided to reduce a degree of thermal damage induced in the non-target tissues.
