摘要： An article for storing and dispensing a detergent composition in the form of separate units of at least two detergent composition components is disclosed which comprises a holder which holds 2 to 10 receptacles attached thereto by readily removable attaching means and contains means for fastening said holder to a washing machine or to a wall. Each receptacle has a filling opening at the top, retaining means at the bottom, viewing openings or a transparent section and openings in the side walls at the lower end through which units may be removed; is sized to hold units having a weight of 5-30 grams, a volume of 5-20 milliliters, and a density of 0.8 to 2 g./ml.; and contains only units of a single detergent composition component. Such a dispensing apparatus is designed to enable the housewife to formulate her own detergent composition based upon her own particular needs by dispensing, if needed, a plurality of units of each detergent composition component.

摘要： A method of washing laundry which comprises admixing with laundry and wash water at a washing temperature in the tub of a washing machine, a plurality of separate units of different detergent composition components, in the range of 1 to 10 of each of said units, to produce a liquid washing medium containing 0.05% to 0.5% of an operator formulated synthetic organic detergent composition and agitating the medium for a time sufficient to remove soil from the laundry being washed, said units being of tablet, envelope, packet, capsule or other container form having a weight of 5 to 30 grams each and a volume of 4 to 20 milliliters.

摘要： A permeable soap holder and body washing device may include a permeable bag for receiving a bar of soap therein and for body contact during washing, and a gripping strap carried by a closed end of the permeable bag to facilitate manipulation of the permeable bag for body contact during washing. The permeable bag may have opposing first and second ends, with the first end being selectively closeable and the second end being closed. The soap holder may further include a drawstring for selectively closing the first end of the permeable bag to permit insertion or removable of a soap bar within the permeable bag. The combination of the drawstring and the gripping strap permits a user to control the soap holder to more readily wash the user's back.
