摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a meniscus of ink bulges out of a nozzle unless there is a negative pressure in a cartridge unit of an inkjet printer with an ink feeding system connected to an ink storage compartment and a printing head. SOLUTION: The ink storage compartment has a displaceable wall section, and its variable storage volume is variable. A displaceable wall is biased to expand the variable storage volume. A negative pressure is present in the ink storage volume, preventing inadvertent leakage of the ink from the ink discharging nozzle. The meniscus pins itself to an edge part of the nozzle aperture and is sometimes strong enough to stop the ink leakage. The meniscus reverses back to the nozzle opening by the negative pressure in the ink storage volume. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle assembly for an inkjet print head. SOLUTION: The nozzle assembly for the inkjet print head is equipped with an inkjet nozzle with an actuator. When a resistive element of the actuator is heated by a current, the actuator makes ink droplets be ejected from the inkjet nozzle. The nozzle assembly is also equipped with a driving transistor for supplying an energy pulse to the resistive element of the actuator, and a control logic for controlling the driving transistor. The driving transistor and the control logic are formed on a silicon substrate, and the inkjet nozzle is formed to cover at least one of the driving transistor and a control unit.
