    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sheet which is flexible enough to prevent a varnish layer from being ruptured or from being released from a base sheet, and has improved surface characteristics in terms of optical properties such as at least 85% permeability and 5% or lower turbidity, and a method for manufacturing the above composite sheet. SOLUTION: This composite sheet is composed of the polymer base sheet and the polymer varnish layer, and has optical characteristics as described below. The varnish layer shows at least 4H wearing properties represented by the pencil hardness and such flexibility as being able to be rupture-free or layer release-free from the base sheet, even when two metal pieces to which the composite sheet is tightly adjacent with 100 μm thickness, are bent around the edge of the metal piece. In addition, the varnish layer shows at least 85% transmission, at 400 nm, 600 nm and 800 nm wavelength, which is decided by covering a slide with a composition generating the varnish layer, in 5 μm thickness, and curing the varnish layer, when the former transmission is compared with a transmission of the slide not covered with the composition.
