    • The present invention provides an anti-rotation structure for a balance chamber snap ring of a belt type continuously variable transmission having a balance chamber that balances a centrifugal oil pressure generated in an oil pressure chamber formed on a movable sheave back surface. A projecting portion, which comes into contact with an end portion of the balance chamber snap ring when the balance chamber snap ring rotates independently within a ring groove about a secondary shaft, thereby restricting independent rotation of the balance chamber snap ring, is provided on a latch portion of a cover member. As a result, independent rotation of the balance chamber snap ring can be prevented, thereby preventing the cover member and the balance chamber snap ring from becoming worn.

    • A storage apparatus includes: a storage drive providing a physical storage area for creating a logical storage area used by an external apparatus; a storage controller including a plurality of central processing units (CPUs) executing data write processing from the external apparatus to the storage drive, and data read processing from the storage drive; a plurality of cooling fans cooling the storage drive; a temperature sensor detecting a temperature of air introduced or discharged by the cooling fans; and a revolving speed sensor detecting a revolving speed of each cooling fan. Any of the CPUs executes operation control processing in which, through a data network path to the storage drive for the data write and read processing, measurement values of the temperature and revolving speed sensors are acquired and a revolving speed setup value of the fans is calculated and is transmitted to the cooling fans.

    • A storage control system of the present invention can carry out settings for a storage device using redundantly configured access channels. A controller of the storage control system can access a storage device using a plurality of access channels of system A and system B. A disk control unit outputs a control signal to an I/F control unit on the basis of a setting table. When a failure occurs in an I/F control unit of system A, the output signals of the respective switches transfer to a high-impedance state. Therefore, a storage device can be set by outputting, from an I/F control unit of system B, a signal corresponding to a desired operational mode and identification information.
