    • A method and apparatus is provided for measuring underdeposit localized corrosion rate of a metal structure under differential flow conditions encountered in actual cooling water systems. A first electrode defining a slow flow electrode is immersed in an electrolytic liquid. A second electrode defining a fast flow electrode is also immersed in the electrolytic liquid. Different fluid dynamic conditions are created on the slow flow and fast flow electrodes. There are three (3) techniques for obtaining measurement from a differential flow cell so as to determine the underdeposit localized corrosion rate due to differential flow conditions. In one embodiment, the different fluid dynamic conditions are created by rotating the slow flow electrode at a first speed and by rotating the fast flow electrode at a second speed which is higher than the first speed.

    • To reduce traffic between multiple servers in a presence system and improve the performance of the presence system, a method and device is provided for user-management in a presence system, and a presence system. The presence system comprises multiple presence servers communicating through a network, and said device for user-management comprises a combining means for combining multiple user sets among which there are the greatest correlations into a user set to be allocated; and an allocating means for allocating said user set to be allocated to one presence server which can contain said user set to be allocated. Through allocating multiple user sets among which there are the greatest correlations to a same presence server, communications among users in the user set are performed within a same presence server, reducing occupations for network resources and improving performance of the presence system.

    • A service linkage control system and method are disclosed for implementing service linkage identification and control for separated control channel and data channel in the communication system.
