摘要： The invention relates to a method for improved automatic control of a function in a terrestrial vehicle, comprising automatic control of the function, determination of the position of the vehicle on the ground (x, y), and comparison of the position of the vehicle with one or several previously stored positions. The previously stored positions are positions where it has been determined that the control automation has carried out a control that was outside a predetermined permitted range on previous occasions, and if the determined position of the vehicle conforms with one of the previously stored positions, special previously stored control information is used to reduce the risk of the control being outside said predetermined permitted range yet again. The invention can also comprise evaluation of the automatic control of one or several functions in the vehicle, and storage of positions (x, y) on the ground at which the evaluation has shown that the automatic control has carried out a measure that was outside said predetermined permitted range.

摘要： The invention relates to a method of cleaning a filter during operation of a vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine (10), which during operation sends exhaust to an exhaust system (140) comprising said filter, and a transmission (90) drivable by the engine. The method is characterized by the step of selecting a gear ration in the vehicle transmission so that a first temperature within a first temperature interval is obtained, said first interval being dependent on a degree of plugging of the filter with regard to a first particle type. The method is furthermore characterized by the step of then selecting a gear ration so that a second temperature within a second temperature interval is obtained, said second temperature interval being dependent on another degree of plugging of the filter with regard to a second particle type. The first particle type and the second particle type are different from each other. Said selections achieve regeneration of the filter.

摘要： The present invention relates to a motor vehicle with a clutch (3) and an automated transmission (9) between the engine and the drive wheels of the vehicle. The vehicle has a first electronic control unit (48) for controlling the engine, a second electronic control unit (45) for controlling the transmission, depending on a set position of a manual gear selector (46). The second control unit, with the gear selector in position for automatic shifting, selects a gear for starting off or under way, which is determined by the gear selection strategy stored in the second control unit as a function of various parameters fed into the second control unit. The invention is characterized in that the second control unit is disposed, at starting off or under way, to continuously perform computer simulations, at least on the basis of information on road incline and throttle opening position, of the future travel of the vehicle, for a set of different combinations of shift rpm:s and shift increments. This is in accordance with a criterion selected automatically or manually by the driver, using a switch. The second control unit selects out a shifting schedule which will be optimal in accordance with the selected criterion.

摘要： A method is provided to control a drivetrain of a vehicle, especially a utility vehicle, wherein the drivetrain includes an engine with a cooling system. The cooling system includes a fan. The cooling system and the drivetrain are controlled by an electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU has access to a navigation system with topographic data. The method includes determining a topology of an upcoming route of the vehicle, estimating the load of the engine dependent of the topology of the upcoming route, estimating a temperature variation of the cooling system during the upcoming route, and controlling the drivetrain dependent on the estimated temperature variation, such that an actual temperature of the cooling system is kept below a temperature threshold value during the upcoming route of the vehicle. The temperature threshold value is dependent on a temperature at which said fan is activated.

The clutch and the gearbox are controlled by an electronic transmission control unit (45) which communicates with an engine control unit (48), to which are fed signals representing the selected gear from a gear selector (46) and signals representing various engine and vehicle data. At least one auxiliary unit (61) is engagable to and disengagable from a power takeoff (62) with the aid of manual and/or automatic switch means (63). An override function can be programmed into the transmission control unit so that the transmission control unit takes over the control of the auxiliary unit at the beginning of shifting and returns control of the auxiliary unit to the switch means after completed shifting.
