The title includes a data management table. The data management table indicates an application read priority level for each title. The BD-J module (35) includes a java virtual machine (38), a local memory (29), and an application manager (36) for loading the application to the local memory (29). The application manager (36) reads in the application into the local memory (29) according to the read priority level of each application and the memory size of the local memory (29).

摘要： The present invention relates to an X-ray tube with a structure, by which the charging of an insulating member, disposed inside a container, is effectively prevented to enable stable operation to be secured. This X-ray tube has an electron source that emits electrons, a target that generates X-rays in response to the incidence of the electrons, first and second electrons, each having a side face portion that extends along the direction of incidence of the electrons and forming a predetermined electric field between the electron source and the target, and an insulating support member, for supporting the first and second electrodes, being disposed along the side face portions of the first and second electrodes. The second electrode, of the first and second electrodes, is positioned closest to the target and has an anti-charging edge portion that is positioned at an X-ray generating surface end of the side face portion and that extends toward the exterior of the container so as to cover over the support members from the target.

A cue-up operation for choosing a playback start position in the AVClip is performed by three types of instructions, namely a user-skip operation, a chapter search operation, and a Link command. Among these three types of instructions, attribute information included in marker information indicates whether only a branching command operation is allowed for choosing a corresponding playback start position, or the user-skip operation and the chapter search operation are allowed adding to the branching command.

摘要： An AV Clip generated by multiplexing video and graphics streams is recorded on a BD-ROM. The graphics stream is a sequence of PES packets. The PES packets include ODSs (Object Definition Segments) carrying graphics data and PCSs (Presentation Control Segments) carrying control information. A PCS indicates that graphics data in a preceding ODS in the arrangement is to be displayed at a predetermined time in a state of being overlaid on the video stream. The PCS and the preceding ODS belong to different DSs, and the graphics data in the preceding ODS may be non-referenced graphics data that is not referenced by a PCS which belongs to the same DS as the preceding ODS.

摘要： An optical disc including: a data area storing one or more video objects; and a time map area storing time map information. Each video object includes a plurality of video object units. The time map information includes a first time table and a second time table for each video object. Each first time table includes: addresses of video object units in a corresponding video object; and indicators. The addresses are arranged in order and indicate storage positions of the video object units that correspond to reproduction points that differ by a predetermined time unit. The predetermined time unit is longer than a maximum reproduction period of a video object unit. The indicators specify the video object units which respectively correspond to the addresses. Each second time table includes an entry for each video object unit in the corresponding video object. The entries are arranged in order. Each second time table includes a reproduction period and a data size of each video object unit.
