    • A securing device is disclosed having a flange mountable on a suction-providing source, and having pipe members that detachably receive a corrugated pipe such as a drain tile. A major or outer pipe is concentrically and integrally joined to, and extends perpendicularly from the flange. The outer pipe includes a rod receiving slot extending circumferentially and radially through a predetermined portion of the outer pipe. A minor or inner pipe is concentrically and integrally joined to, and extends perpendicularly from the flange such that the inner pipe is concentrically disposed inside the outer pipe. A latch is mounted on the outer pipe and is and is movable between a latched position and a fully unlatched position. A securing rod is pivotally connected to the outer pipe and is operatively associated with the latch subassembly so as to be movable from a secured position to a released position. When the latch subassembly is in the fully unlatched position, the rod is in the released position, and when the latch subassembly is in the latched position, the rod is in the secured position to detachably secure the position of a drain tile upon the inner pipe.

    • An insertion device for taking samples within a body. The insertion device includes a trigger housing, an outer sheath assembly, a sampling device, and a resilient member. The trigger housing includes an interior channel in which the resilient member is disposed to urge the outer sheath assembly away from a proximal end of the trigger housing. The outer sheath assembly is disposed within the interior channel of the trigger housing. The outer sheath assembly includes a body and an outer sheath attached to a distal end of the body. The sampling device is removably disposed within the outer sheath assembly and the trigger housing. The sampling device may be a removable biopsy needle assembly which is used to cock the insertion device. The removable biopsy needle assembly may be removed from the insertion device and be replaced by a needle assembly for fine needle aspiration.

We describe an architecture for an OPC Failover system, the architecture comprising: a plurality of OPC servers; at least one OPC client; a computer network linking said OPC servers and said OPC client; and an OPC Failover service coupled to said network and not coupled between said OPC client and said OPC servers, said OPC Failover service being configured to monitor at least one of said OPC servers for an error condition and to redirect network communications of said OPC client from one of said servers to another on detection of said error condition.

    • An adapter assembly (120) for connecting a catheter assembly (50,52) to a tunneler (110) having a generally tubular body (122) having a first end (124), a second end (126) and a longitudinal axis ( )128 extending therethrough between the first end and the second end. A method of subcutaneously tunneling a catheter using the adapter assembly is also described that comprises inserting a catheter into a patient, connecting the proximal end of a trocar to the adapter assembly, releasably restraining at least one lumen of the catheter in the adapter, and tunneling the assembly.
