    • Methods and systems are provided for detection of unauthorized entities in communication systems. The method includes obtaining a secret string by a first network element and generating a random number by the first network element. The method also includes computing a first cryptographic result by the first network element. The first cryptographic result is based on a cryptographic function, the secret string, and the random number. The method further includes attempting to transmit, by the first network element, a first packet that includes the random number to a second network element using a layer 2 packet terminating protocol. The method includes receiving, within a configured time, a second packet including a second cryptographic result at the first network element, and terminating transmission to the second network element when a second cryptographic result is different from the first cryptographic result.

    • A mobile security system is provided having a container configured to be moved to a plurality of locations. A walkway extends transversely through the container and provides access to an exit gate when the mobile security system is positioned adjacent an exit gate. The mobile security system includes a RFID detection system for detecting and identifying RFID tags that move through the walkway. If a RFID tag associated with a jobsite item is identified, an alarm system and/or camera devices within the container are actuated. The electronic components of the mobile security system are stored in a primary cabinet in the container so as to be inaccessible from the walkway. The container is configured to prevent damage to the electronic components caused by movement, vibration, or harsh environmental conditions.

    • A system is disclosed for displaying circuitry interconnections as flightlines between a component specified as the local component and the foreign components connecting to the local component. Upon obtaining data of the circuit components and interconnections, a user can designate the local component from among all of the circuit components. The system determines the foreign components connected to that local component, retrieves the flightline appearance display settings for the computer display, and renders a view of the specified local component and its foreign components with flightlines representing each interconnection connection. The flightlines can be color coded to indicate inputs, outputs or other characteristics of interest to the user.
