摘要： A disc recording apparatus which uses a disc recorded with address data beforehand and writes the TOC (information about recorded data) in a predetermined area on the disc. When a predetermined key is operated during recording, an address on the disc corresponding to an operation point of the key is written to the predetermined area as the TOC, generating positional information for data retrieval which substantially has no offset from a marker point on the disc. In reproduction, the TOC is read before starting reproduction, so that a desired marker point can be detected promptly based on the positional information of the TOC data.

摘要： A digital signal with included sub-code data reproduced from a first recording medium is recorded to a second recording medium having a data recording area and a table of contents (TOC) area establishing an end point of the digital signal outputted from the first recording medium by detecting if a reproducing time information of the sub-code data outputted from the first recording medium with the diginal signal ceases changing, detecting whether an audio data is included in the digital signal outputted from the first recording medium, and if not, pausing the recording operation for a predetermined time period, and after the predetermined time period passes, if it is detected that the reproducing time information ceases changing and the audio data is still not included in the digital signal outputted from the first recording medium, the recording operation of data in the second recording medium terminates, and a data indicative of a recording end point of the data which is recorded in the data recording area of the second recording medium is recorded in the TOC area of the second recording medium, the recording end point being a time point at which a predetermined time period passes after it is detected that the reproducing time information ceases changing and the reproduction of the first recording medium terminates, and then the whole recording operation to the second recording medium terminates.

The method comprises predetermining a unitary block of data which consists of n times (where n is a positive integer) the decodable minimum unitary amount of the compressed data; sequentially extracting, out of the informationally continuous data of plural programs on the disc, the data of the unitary block at an interval of m unitary blocks (where m is a positive integer) in the forward or reverse direction of the continuity of the data; and reproducing the sound from the extracted data. By repeating such playback operation, the audio data of the plural programs can be reproduced in the cue or review mode at a speed higher than the normal playback speed.

In response to an image processing indicator, a first medical image is automatically identified, including determining a first image operation and image processing parameters, without user intervention. A second medical image is generated and transmitted to the client device to be presented therein. The client device displays a message prompting the user whether the user is satisfied with the second medical image. 摘要： This technology relates to an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program, which enable easier addition of an effect to a moving image.In a portable terminal device, an ambient environmental sound and a voice uttered by a user are picked up by different sound pickup units when the moving image is shot. A keyword detecting unit detects a keyword determined in advance from the voice uttered by the user and an effect generating unit generates an image effect and a sound effect associated with the detected keyword. Then, an effect adding unit superposes the generated image effect on the shot moving image and synthesizes the generated sound effect with the environmental sound, thereby applying image effects and sound effects to the moving image. According to the portable terminal device, it is possible to easily add a desired effect to the moving image only by uttering the keyword while shooting the moving image. This technology may be applied to a mobile phone.
