摘要： A reconfigurable passive optical component organiser (1) comprises a receiving surface (20,21,22) and restriction means (23,24,25,26,27). The receiving surface (20,21,22) comprises a plurality of relatively rigid regions hinged together and is reconfigurable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the receiving surface (20,21,22) is configured to be substantially planar and retain a loop of optical fibre. In the closed position the receiving surface (20,21,21) is non-planar and substantially encloses said loop of fibre. The restriction means (23,24,25,26,27) act to prevent reconfiguration of the receiving surface (20,21,22) to the closed position bending the loop of fibre beyond the minimum bend radius of the loop of optical fibre.

The or each cable termination retention means is provided on a respective fibre storage tray or on the support, or fixed in relation thereto, adjacent the respective storage tray and is capable of receiving and retaining an end of a respective cable so that optical fibre(s) from incoming/outgoing cable(s) are capable of being fed directly to/from the respective fibre storage means. In preferred embodiments the cable retention means are integrally formed on either the trays or the support and are aligned such that the fibres are fed to or from the trays substantially aligned with the hinge axis of their respective tray.

摘要： An organiser (1) for optical fibres comprises a base tray (2) and a main tray (3), said trays being hingedly connected so as to provide an opened position in which access to the trays is facilitated and a closed position in which the base tray (2) is at least partially covered.
