CONSTITUTION:A transmission control computer 34 deflects the speed shift steps of an automatic transmission 78 by means of a hydraulic control circuit 150 through solenoids S1-S3, and inputs the shift range signal SR of a neutral start switch 84, and in addition, inputs signals showing the operation states of rotary speed sensors 80, 82, a hydraulic sensor 86, a throttle position sensor 36 or the like, and commences the output increase control of an engine 10 after the changeover of the hydraulic control circuit 150 after a predetermined time has elapsed from a measuring start time point fixed by means of the changeover time of the hydraulic control circuit 150. Accordingly, an engine rotation number can be raised during a time that is between the release and engagement of the friction engagement of shift down, and a speed shift time is shortened without speed shift shock, and proper engine output increase control can be conducted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a judder and to sufficiently ensure the slip region of a direct coupling clutch by deciding whether a direct coupling clutch is engaged in a slip state based on the total degree of satisfaction determined by a computing means. CONSTITUTION:In consideration of a vehicle state related to an L/U shift pattern according to a control rule based on a fuzzy inference, the total degree Lu (ON) of satisfaction at which an L/U clutch 20 is brought into an engaging state, the total degree Lu (OFF) of satisfaction at which the clutch is brought into a release state, and the total degree Lu (SL) of satisfaction at which the clutch is brought into a slip state are respectively calculated. When ON is selected, a drive signal SD having a duty ratio of 100% is outputted from an L/U clutch control device 64, a solenoid on-off valve 34 is completely closed, and the L/U clutch 20 is brought into an engaging state. When SL is selected, a drive signal SD having a given duty ratio is outputted, the solenoid valve 34 is opened and closed at the duty ratio, and the L/U clutch 20 is brought into a slip state.
