    • A fuel injection control system for an engine comprising: accelerating/decelerating state detection means which samples an intake pipe pressure of the engine at each sample timing which comes every time a very short time is passed from a timing at which a signal generator generates a signal at a reference crank angle position of the engine, and detects whether the engine is in an accelerating state or in a decelerating state when a difference between the intake pipe pressure sampled at each sample timing and an intake pipe pressure sampled at the corresponding sample timing one combustion cycle before exceeds a set value; and injector drive means which decides a fuel amount to be injected from an injector so as to be suitable for the detected state when the accelerating state or decelerating state is detected and drives the injector so as to inject the decided amount of fuel.

    • An illumination device including a light source device includes a light source being constituted by LED(s); a light source side reflective plate to which the light source is fixed; an emission side reflective plate facing the light source side reflective plate; and a fixing means for fixing the both reflective plates, wherein the emission side reflective plate is formed so that a portion thereof facing the light source has the highest optical reflectance and the lowest optical transmittance while the optical reflectance decreases and the optical transmittance increases farther away from the light source, and the distance between the both reflective plates is greatest at a portion where the light source is disposed, while the distance decreases at portions farther away from the portion where the light source is disposed. Thus the device can supply light in a substantially uniform manner from a light irradiation surface.

    • Provided is a surface light source unit which has a high-directivity point light source and has a decreased thickness in the in the direction in which light is irradiated from said point light source. Also provided are a surface illumination device and a liquid crystal display device. A plurality of small chambers (311 to 322) having an opening on the top are formed in a housing (3) from side plates (3b to 3e) that have a predetermined height and partition plates (4) which partition the inside of the housing (3). Each small chamber is provided with a point light source (2) on the bottom part. The opening of each small chamber (311 to 322) is covered with a light transmitting/reflecting plate (511 to 522) which has a surface area (S), and comprises: a central reflecting section that has a surface area (ΔS), exhibits high reflectance and low transmittance, and is positioned directly above the point light source (2); and an outer reflecting section that surrounds the central reflecting section and is configured so that the light transmittance increases at distances further from the central reflecting section. The surface area (ΔS) and surface area (S) of each light transmitting/reflecting plate (511 to 522) are set in a manner such that the ratio ΔS/S is a predetermined value.
