A device may determine a wake up receiver (WUR) wake-up frame to be sent to a first station device of one or more station devices. The device may determine one or more indications associated with the first station device, wherein the one or more indications indicate to the first station device, one or more actions to be taken by the first station device after waking up a primary connectivity radio (PCR) of the first station device. The device may cause a medium access control (MAC) layer to encode the WUR wake-up frame with the one or more indications associated with the first station device. The device may cause to send the WUR wake-up frame to the first station device using a physical layer (PHY).

摘要： Embodiments of the disclosure provide auto-detection in wireless telecommunications. Certain embodiments provide or otherwise implement a specific sequence of bits and/or symbols for auto-detection. The specific sequence of bits can be embodied in or can include output codebits from an encoder in a communication device that can send a wireless transmission including the specific sequence. In one embodiment, the encoder can compute or otherwise generate cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs) or other types of validation checks at the communication device. The specific sequence can be determined using the payload of a packet frame. Both the manner in which the specific sequence is generated and the temporal order in which the specific sequence is received relative to other payload in the packet frame can provide specificity to the sequence.

An originator operating in a frame-aggregating mode sends a multiple-frame data block to a receiver. The block may include a header for each frame. When the multiple-frame block is received with the header of each frame indicating a block acknowledgement request, the receiver may respond with a block acknowledgement for the entire block of frames, without waiting for a separate block acknowledgement request to be sent by the originator following the multiple-frame block.

摘要： An apparatus and method for block acknowledgements with reduced recipient state information are described. In one embodiment, the method comprises the storing of a receive state for a block of frames received during a transmission opportunity (TXOP) with an on-chip state memory. Once stored, an immediate block acknowledgement, including the receive state information, may be transmitted to an originator according to a block acknowledgement request (BAR) received during the TXOP. In the embodiments described, the BAR is received during the TXOP in which the block of data frames were transmitted to a recipient. In one embodiment, the recipient is free to discard the receive state information to free space within the on-chip system memory by requiring the originator to maintain the receive state information of blocks of data frames transmitted during TXOPs. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
