摘要： A method and apparatus for selecting the PL of an interested MBMS service for a UE in an MBMS mobile communication system are provided. A connected mode UE receives FLC applicability information for an interested MBMS service and keeps a current frequency or reselects to the PL of the MBMS service according to the FLC applicability information. Even if the FLC applicability information restricts FLC from the connected mode UE, the connected mode UE can reselect to the PL of the MBMS service according to its priority level.

摘要： An apparatus and method for automatically searching for a low-power Base Station (BS) supporting access of a registered user in a mobile communication system includes a method of performing automatic search on a Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell by a User Equipment (UE). The method includes determining by the UE whether automatic search needs to be performed on the CSG cell. The method also includes, if it is determined that automatic search does not need to be performed on the CSG cell, turning off by the UE a CSG cell automatic search function of the UE by emptying a first white list including CSG Identifiers of accessible CSG cells.

摘要： Method is provided for communicating with a User Equipment (UE) supporting a High Power Saving Reception Mode (HPSRM) mode by an evolved Node B (eNB) in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycle information from a network entity performing mobility management for the UE by the eNB communicating with the UE over a wireless link; and broadcasting system information including the DRX cycle information. The DRX cycle information is set longer than DRX cycle information of a UE non-supporting the HPSRM mode. By doing so, an efficient paging method for an UE operating in the HPSRM mode may be provided.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for feeding back channel quality information and performing scheduling using the fed-back channel quality information in a wireless communication system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). In the OFDMA wireless communication system, forward performance degradation due to a decrease in an amount of reverse channel quality information is reduced, and also an increase in the reverse load due to channel quality information feedback is suppressed. A base station controls power of a physical channel using information fed back from a mobile station. In a method for feeding back channel quality information from the mobile station, sub-band-by-sub-band channel quality information is measured and channel-by-channel quality information of a number of channels is transmitted in order of sub-bands of better channel quality information. Average channel quality information for a total band is measured and transmitted.

In the method, an SI transmission point is determined using unique identification information of a femto base station itself and unique identification information of a macro base station with which the femto base station is associated. Each of user equipment and the macro base station generate a measurement gap pattern representing an SI reception point using the unique identification information of the femto base station and the unique identification information of the macro base station. SI is received from the femto base station according to the generated measurement gap pattern.
