    • A method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire which can manufacture the longest possible wire by connecting relatively short wires with each other and is capable of suppressing reduction of a critical current resulting from influence by strain when the wires connected with each other are bent, an oxide superconducting wire, a superconducting coil and a superconducting apparatus are provided. According to the method of manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire by superposing end portions of two oxide superconducting wires (1, 2) with each other thereby bonding the end portions and connecting the oxide superconducting wires with each other, a junction (L) formed by superposing the end portions with each other is so worked as to reduce the quantity of strain on an end of the junction (L) when the two oxide superconducting wires (1) and (2) connected with each other are bent. Each of the oxide superconducting wire, the superconducting coil and the superconducting apparatus has the aforementioned junction (L), and the quantity of strain on the end of the junction (L) is reduced in the aforementioned manner.

    • Un cable de super-conduccion en el cual se puede mejorar el desempeno de aislamiento termico a traves de un tubo de aislamiento termico, de modo que se pueda mantener un minimo desempeno de aislamiento termico del tubo de aislamiento termico, incluso si una parte externa del tubo de aislamiento termico se rompe durante la transportacion. Se recibe un tubo de aislamiento termico (2) en el cual un centro del cable (3) del cable de super conduccion (1), tiene un primer tubo de metal (21), un segundo tubo de metal (22), y un tercer tubo de metal (23), colocado en dicho orden a partir del interior en forma radial del tubo de aislamiento termico. Se forma una seccion de aislamiento termico interno (5) entre el primer tubo de metal (21) y el segundo tubo de metal (22), y se forma una seccion de aislamiento termico externo (7) dentro del tercer tubo de metal (23), fuera de la seccion de aislamiento termico interno (5). El desempeno de aislamiento termico de la seccion de aislamiento termico externo se ajusta para ser inferior a la de la seccion de aislamiento termico interno.

    • In a solid DC cable formed of a conductor (1, 21, 41) and an insulating layer provided on an outer circumference of a conductor, the insulating layer is constituted by one of: (A) a main insulating layer (4), and a low-resistance tape layer (2) comprising carbon paper having a volume resistivity which is smaller by one or more figures than that of the main insulating layer (4) (Fig. 1); (B) a main insulating layer (23) comprising kraft paper (23A), and a low-resistance insulating layer (23B) comprising low-resistance kraft paper having a resistivity smaller than the kraft paper (23A) of the main insulating layer; (C) a main insulating layer (43) comprising a composite tape in which low-loss plastic film and kraft paper (43A) are bonded, and a low-resistance insulating layer comprising kraft paper (43B) having a resistivity lower than the main insulating layer; and (D) a low-resistance tape layer (2) comprising carbon paper, a low-resistance insulating layer comprising the low-resistance kraft paper (23B), and a main insulating layer (23A) which is successively provided from the conductor side to the main insulating layer side. In the solid DC cable, the low-resistance insulating layer (23B, 43B) and the low-resistance tape layer (2) are provided just above the conductor (1, 21, 41) in a region where the pressure of insulating oil becomes negative when a load is cut off.
