    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always suitably retain a fuel injection quantity to an internal combustion engine even any engine operation condition. SOLUTION: An injector 18 is arranged in the intake port 17 of an internal combustion engine 1, and an intake pressure sensor 8 is arranged in an intake pipe 2. A CPU 33 in an ECU 30, variably sets a rate that injection fuel is stuck on the wall surface of an intake pipe, which is the parameter of a fuel behavior model, the remaining rate of stuck fuel, a ratio that injection fuel is stuck on the wall surface in a cylinder and the remaining rate of stuck fuel, while corresponding to an absolute value of intake pressure PM. Then, the CPU 33 corrects a fuel injection quantity by using each parameter. In this case, when the absolute value of intake pressure PM is set on a positive side (such as when a vehicle is accelerated), the rate that injection fuel is stuck on the wall surface of the intake pipe and the remaining rate in the cylinder are increased, and also the remaining rate of fuel stuck to the intake pipe and the rate that fuel injection is stuck on the wall surface in the cylinder are decreased, and when the absolute value of intake pressure PM is set on a negative side (such as when the vehicle is decelerated), the rate of fuel injection stuck on the wall surface of the intake pipe and the remaining rate in the cylinder are decreased, and also the remaining rate of fuel stuck to the intake pipe and the rate of fuel injection stuck on the wall surface in the cylinder are increased.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately control an LPG internal-combustion engine, by providing a temperature-difference-type flow rate sensor between the primary and secondary pressure reduction chambers of the engine to measure the flow rate of fuel and compensate for the temperature of the fuel to determine the exact flow rate of the fuel. CONSTITUTION:Liquid fuel for an LPG internal-combustion engine is stored in an LPG container 1. The fuel is sent to a preheating chamber 21 provided with a pipe 26 to which cooling water or the like is supplied, so that the fuel is completely evaporated. The pressure of the evaporated fuel is lowered to a prescribed level in a primary pressure reduction chamber 22 and then lowered to nearly the atmospheric pressure in a secondary pressure reduction chamber 23 so that the fuel is supplied to the engine through a carburetor. A heater 3 is provided i a passage between the primary and the secondary pressure reduction chambers 22, 23 and connected in a bridge circuit to measure the flow rate of the evaporated fuel in terms of the change in the temperature thereof. Since the properties of the evaporated gas depend on the temperature thereof, thermosensitive resistors are provided upstream and downstream to the heater 3 to compensate for the temperature. The measured flow rate is entered into a controller 5 and indicated at 6.
