The method further comprises positioning at least a portion of a footwear (100) last in the first compartment (1660, 1665) on the first side of the sheet (1540, 1640, 840) of upper material (1540, 1640, 840) . The method further comprises applying an environmental pressure differential across the sheet (1540, 1640, 840) of upper material (1540, 1640, 840) , wherein a first environmental pressure in the first compartment (1660, 1665) is lower than a second environmental pressure in the second compartment (1660, 1665) . Accordingly, the environmental pressure differential draws the sheet (1540, 1640, 840) of upper material (1540, 1640, 840) against the footwear (100) last thereby forming at least a portion of an upper (105, 605, 705) of the article of footwear (100) . The method further comprises assembling the article of footwear (100) including fixedly attaching the upper (105, 605, 705) of the article of footwear (100) to a sole structure (110) .
