The client includes a feature extraction module, a progressive sending module, a sampling module and a feedback receiver. The image recognizer progressively processes the groups of extracted features received from the client and provides results and hints for improved recognition. The present invention also includes methods for processing captured information progressively, sending extracted features in groups, and progressively performing image recognition for improved recognition speed.
