摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a colored pattern sheet on which the desired pattern is formed by forming a titanium oxide film on the surface of a substrate, locally irradiating the film with excimer laser beam, and evaporating the titanium oxide. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 1 (e.g. of stainless steel) is disposed in a vacuum vapor deposition device and, after the inside of the device is regulated to the prescribed degree of vacuum and substrate temp. is also regulated to the prescribed value. Oxygen is supplied and Ti is evaporated by means of an electron beam, by which the surface of the substrate 1 is coated with a titanium oxide film 2 (olive color) of the prescribed thickness. Subsequently, the substrate 1 is taken out and the surface 3 of the titanium oxide film 2 is locally irradiated with the prescribed excimer laser beam 5, by which the titanium oxide in the irradiated part is evaporated and a thin titanium oxide film 4 (blue color) is formed. By this method, the colored pattern sheet on which the desired pattern having different colors can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a sound weld zone having no hot cracking without being influenced by a base metal component by underlaying low carbon welding materials on an inclined part in advance. CONSTITUTION:In the automatic TIG welding of a groove 2 having the inclined part of high carbon alloy steel, the inclined part is underlaid 7 is advance with the low carbon welding materials. Afterward, this inclined part is welded by reducing the feed quantity of a welding wire 4 comparing with that at the time of welding a flat part or without feeding the welding wire 4. In this way, even if there is weld penetration by the upper automatic TIG welding, the sound weld zone without hot cracking is obtained without being influenced by the base metal 1 component even if the adding wire is reduced or the wire is not added.

摘要： PURPOSE:To uniformize a melt-through bead by varying a groove width in accordance with a plate thickness of a rib-shaped member, and also, forming an intermittent gap part between a groove edge part of a wave shape and a rib-shaped member. CONSTITUTION:Width of a groove 4 is varied successively in accordance with a variation of a plate thickness of a rib-shaped member 2, and also, a groove edge part is formed to a wave shape, and between the rib-shaped member 2 and the groove edge part, an intermittent gap part and a polymerized part are formed. When welding is executed, an upper plate 3 and the rib 2 are welded in a T-shape by a weld metal 5, and a melt-through bead 6 is formed in the reverse side of the weld metal. In this case, since the groove which has formed the intermittent gap part has been used, heat comes not to be transferred easily to an intermediate part from a thin wall part of the rib 2 whose heat transfer quantity is small, it can be prevented that the thin wall side of the rib 2 is filled with heat. Accordingly, no burn-through of the weld metal 5 exists, and the melt-through bead can be formed uniformly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient magnetic strength as far as the bottom part of a deep groove, by providing a magnetic material core for surrounding an electrode, on the inside of a welding nozzle, in a device for stirring magnetically and welding a molten metal. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic stirring welding device, a magnetic material core such as an iron core 6, etc. is fixed to the tip of a tungsten electrode 5 inserted into a nozzle body 1. When an alternating current is made to flow to a coil 2 wound round the nozzle body 1, an alternating magnetic field 13 is obtained in the axial direction of the nozzle 1, and this magnetic field 13 is led to a groove bottom part 9' through the iron core 6. On the other hand, a welding current flows radially in an arc 11 and molten metal 12, the alternating magnetic field 13 crosses it almost vertically, and the molten metal 12 is stirred. According to this device, magnetic field strength in the groove bottom part 9' rises suddenly.
