    • An information processing apparatus includes: a first virtual machine part to operate by being allocated to another information processing apparatus; a monitoring-application information storing part to store an application for monitoring the operation of the virtual machine part; a determining part to determine, in the virtual machine part, whether the application stored in the monitoring-application information storing part is operating by accessing an auxiliary storage device connected to the other information processing apparatus; a status storing part to store application information related to an operating status of the application when the determining part determines that the application is operating; an application exiting part to exit the application when the application information is stored; and a transmitting part to transmit virtual-machine information related to an operating status of the virtual machine part, together with the stored application information, to the other information processing apparatus when the application is exited.

    • A communication service support device includes a parameter storage, a terminal information storage, a comparator, a register, and a notifier. The parameter storage stores, in a manner associated with one another, identification information identifying multiple mobile terminal units, identification information identifying multiple points, identification information identifying service that the individual mobile terminal units can receive at the respective points, and identification information identifying management servers for managing the respective points. The comparator compares the identification information stored in the parameter storage and identifying the management servers with identification information transmitted from a mobile terminal unit at a point and identifying a management server. When agreement of the identification information is found as a result of the comparison, the notifier notifies the mobile terminal unit from which the identification information identifying the management server has been received that the mobile terminal unit is permitted to use the service.

    • A tag access control system for controlling data communication between a plurality of reader/writers respectively having a plurality of antennas and one or more IC tags moving sequentially through communication ranges of the plurality of antennas includes a storing portion for storing movement information and reader/writer information, a command accepting portion for accepting a command, a dividing portion for generating a plurality of divided commands from the command, a detecting portion for detecting the IC tag located within the communication range of the antenna in one reader/writer of the plurality of reader/writers, a job controlling portion for sequentially assigning the plurality of reader/writers the plurality of divided commands according to the movement information and the reader/writer information, and a returning portion for returning a result of processing the command. In this way, the tag access control system can improve a success rate of reading data from and writing data in a plurality of IC tags without lowering a moving velocity of articles.
