摘要： PURPOSE:To pass discharging smoke through the inside of a spandrel and permit to discharge the smoke through air supplying and discharging chambers by a method wherein a sill is overhung from an outer wall and a spandrel is provided below the still with a space between the outer wall. CONSTITUTION:A sill 7, consisting of PC board, is overhung from the outer wall below a window 2 and the shortcircuit of discharging and supplying air is prevented by the partitioning plate 14 of RC between the air discharging port 5 and the air supplying port 6. The spandrel 9, consisting of a vertical PC board, is provided from the outer wall 1 below the sill 7 with a space between the outer wall 1 while the smoke discharging window 4 of a lower floor is provided so as to be opposed against the lower part of the spandrel 9. An air-conditioning unit A utilizes a space below the sill 7 and above the spandrel 9. In case of fire, a smoke discharging window 4 is opened and smoke ascends a space C between the spandrel 9 and the outer wall 1, passes through the chamber B below the sill and is discharged into atmosphere through the opening of the chamber B.

摘要： PURPOSE: To save labor required at the time of construction by providing an opening part for insertion of a jack between the lower end of a pillar and the foundation so as to adjust a level by the jack in the captioned method for correcting the subsidence of the structure due to non-uniform subsidence of the ground or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A pedestal body 2 is set on the foundation 1 and the lower end of a pillar 3 is mounted on the pedestal body 2. The pedestal body 2 is constituted by arranging short posts 4 having angled sections at four corners thereof, a base plate 5 at the lower end thereof and another base plate 6 at the upper end thereof. In addition, a space B for holding the jack A and the opening part C continuing to the space are provided in the central part of the pedestal body 2. On the occasion when the structure subsides due to the subsidence of the ground, the jack A is inserted from the opening part C to push up the pillar 3 and then an adjusting member is inserted between the pedestal body 2 and the pillar 3, whereby the level of the structure is adjusted.
